Get your big fasting mimicking diet questions answered in this episode of the Reshape Your Health podcast featuring Joseph Antoun, MD, PhD.

The fasting-mimicking diet (FMD) is a low-calorie/low-protein but high-unsaturated-fat diet that has an effect on stress resistance/longevity-related markers similar to those caused by water-only fasting, but that minimizes the burden of prolonged fasting as it provides both macro- and micronutrients.

Dr. Antoun is the CEO and Chairman of the Board of L-Nutra which includes brands like ProLon, Fast Bar, and Nutrition for Longevity.

He completed his Health Policy studies at Harvard University, Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, Medicine and Biological Sciences at Saint Joseph University, and his PhD studies in Healthcare Systems at King's College. He was the head of health policy at the University of Chicago and the founder of The Journal of Health Systems & Reform.

Learn more about how and why Dr. Valter Longo developed the fasting-mimicking diet and ProLon.
